2014 ~ PixMob unveiled the first ever human video canvas for the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show viewed by 111,5 million across the world. During the show, 500 field performers and 80,000 live spectators were incorporated into Bruno Mars’ performance through a debut presentation of PixMob VIDEO interactive LED technology.
2015 ~ For its fifth edition, the Dubai International Parachuting Championship organisation wanted to launch the competition by representing the best of parachuting and of the city of Dubai in a spectacular way. BlackOut’s vision was to immerse the public in the world of a skydiver. The main aim was to make the public feel something they never felt before, the possibility to live the liberty of skydiving.
2015 ~ Located in a former shipyard, Red Bull’s new Amsterdam headquarters needed an identity. Sid Lee Architecture revived the space by combining the raw simplicity of an industrial space with the brand’s legendary invitation to perform.
2015 ~ M9 is in the centre of a neighbourhood flowing with investments for the rejuvenation of both Montreal and the banks of the St. Laurent River. The M9 condominium project, set in Old Montreal, combines unbeatable location with bright, spacious, and cutting-edge urban living to create perfect lofts and inspiring penthouses.
2014 ~ Fourteen projectors on yokes automatically recalibrate in real-time to cover the entire stage of the largest permanent show in the world. VYV Copernic emitters embedded in the stage, including rugged submersible versions for the 10 meter deep pool, ensure that images always converge regardless of the stage’s and projectors’ seemingly infinite configurations.
2012 ~ At the heart of Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, on land that once housed the largest wooden farm in Canada, a modern getaway has taken root. Hotel La Ferme is the most contemporary of country hotels. Its namesake was an iconic wooden farm, which was ravaged by fire in 1997. From its ashes a warm, unique space was created.
2014 ~ Casino du Lac-Leamy wished to create a new space in order to offer a comfortable, exciting, and stimulating gambling environment. Sid Lee Architecture redefined the casino experience using in-depth knowledge of our clientele as well as new customers' expectations.
2015 ~ Sid Lee Architecture and Ædifica turned the parking area at Place des Arts into a Salon Urbain, a versatile new space ideal for meeting up before or after a musical performance, a gallery visit, or a conference. The Salon Urbain fully captures the artistic appeal of the site, located at the St. Urbain entrance of Place des Arts and next to the new concert hall.
2015 ~ L’Hôtel Le Germain Toronto est un hôtel-boutique d’exception au coeur du secteur culturel de la ville. 2011 ~ Located in central Amsterdam, the Ajax Experience has been designed by Sid Lee Architecture in collaboration with gsmprjct°, who designed the museum’s scenography and feature exhibits. Lightemotion was commissioned alongside these respected architecture and design studios, to add a dynamic lighting program which highlights the exhibits through the clever integration of lighting into the architectural details.
